Must complete INVENT training

Within 6 months of acceptance to INVENT, the member must complete the following:

National Incident Management System (NIMS), 700a

IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System, I-100

IS-200 Basic Incident Command System, I-200

  Required ICS (you must complete both courses)

Members are required to submit copies of their course certificates as proof of completion.  Copies of certificate or licenses can be mailed, faxed, or emailed to the INVENT Office.

Upon completion of the above training, INVENT team members will be asked to complete the following:

A IMERT-INVENT Domestic Preparedness Course -  The Domestic Preparedness course has been designed to assist nurses and other professional medical disaster responders
improve preparedness for the health care consequences of CBRNE events and naturally occuring catastrophes. The course is intended to augment existing preparedness or other
terrorism-related programs. This 4-hour course has been developed by the Illinois Medical
Emergency Response Team, and INVENT, the Illinois Nurse Team, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois College of Emergency Physicians
under an ASPR grant.  Training locations Downers Grove, IL or Urbana, IL.  See the Events section for upcoming courses

Coordinated Responder Information System - CRIS

Coordinated Responder Information System - CRIS a system that allows you to view your personal information and edit much of your personal data yourself.  The CRIS program needs to be updated and kept current; CRIS can be accessed at http://cris.inventrn.org.  Please login to CRIS and verify your records are correct and current.
