Requirements

General Requirements

• Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
• At least 18 years of age
• Must maintain a current and unrestricted Illinois nursing license or approved affiliated health care practitioner license.
• Must maintain a mode of communication for notification of activation
• Adhere to the INVENT Code of Conduct

Training Requirements

• Must complete INVENT training
• Within 6 months of acceptance to INVENT the member must complete the following:

              National Incident Management System (NIMS), IS 700

              IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System, I-100

              IS-200 Basic Incident Command System, I-200

                  Required ICS (you must complete both courses)

             
              US Fire Administration Emergency Response to Terrorism Self Study
              Required WMD (only one WMD course required)
              or
              TEEX Emergency Services Training Institute
              Required WMD (only one WMD course required)
